Admissions to courses at Sambhram Group of Institution are only processed at the Sambhram Group of Institution Admission Offices. Sambhram Group of Institution has not authorized any other office/personnel to collect fees on behalf of the college. Personnel/offices apart from the Sambhram Group of Institution Admission offices may only share information about the course and create awareness about Sambhram Group of Institution and its facilities. ADMISSIONS

The Sambhram Institutions Admissions Information Centre is open 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Students/parents are very welcome to call in and look through our range of courses, collect information and browse our web pages. Our experienced staff will be on hand to help with any queries relating to SAMBHRAM COURSES.

ADMISSION POLICY


Policy Aim

  • Sambhram college aims to offer a broad range of courses to a varied learner’s population & to ensure that the learners are appropriately matched to programme of study & marks informed choices about their future direction. The college will apply the principles inherent in this policy statement to all the learners.
  • Sambhram college is committed to ensure equality of opportunity for all persons seeking to study in the college & welcomes applications & enrollment from all individuals with the potential to succeed.

Policy Statements

  • The college will ensure that potential learners will receive advice & guidance from the admission staff, in order to help learners to decide on the course of study best suited to their needs.
  • Entry requirements (eligibility) will vary between programmes of study. However each programme will have clear statements on entry requirements & this will be displayed in the brochures, website and notice board.
  • International learners are welcome on the basis that their communication skills are tested prior to enrollment
  • The college is committed to provide impartial guidance in the admission process to help applicants to choose the course or programme which is right for them.
  • Students are directed to submit the necessary documents during admission so as to marginally reduce the inconvenience that the college & university might have to face for reasons as missing documents or incomplete application.
  • If the document produced & information furnished in the application are found to be false, the admission is liable to be canceled.
  • All admissions are provisional & subject to the approval of the related Universities.
  • The candidates shall submit original documents, in case if they have completed the degree or 12th examination.
  • The candidate shall sign an undertaking, wherein the date for balance payment of fees is specified and non payment of the balance fees within the stipulated period shall amount to cancellation of provisional admission.
  • The management is not responsible for any fraud, misrepresentation, non payment of fees, suppression of facts etc committed by the agent or consultant who is acting or authorized to act on behalf of the student or parent.
  • The agent or consultant shall produce an authorization letter from the student or parent to act on his or her behalf.
  • It is the duty of the parents or student to cross check or verify whether an agent or consultant has quoted the correct fees to him or her, and in furtherance of the same, if the agent is authorized to pay the fees, by the student or parents whether the consultant or agent has paid the necessary fees, without keeping any dues.
  • If a student or parent has authorized a consultant to make payments on his behalf then such a student shall insist on the agent or consultant to produce no due certificate which shall be issued by college.

Please Note:

  • Beware of persons quoting wrong fee structures and making false promises. Kindly contact the Admission Office to ascertain the correct fee structure.
  • Agents or Consultants quoting false fee structures are cheating the students. Any Agent or Consultant quoting false fee structure and if found guilty of making false promises shall be subject to penal action. (stringent criminal action shall be initiated against such persons).
  • Admission letters or Provisional admission letters shall not be issued by any Consultant or agent, it is only the college Management or the Admission in charge who shall issue the admission letters.
  • Generally the Management would prefer and advice students and parents to take admissions directly with the college authorities, in order to avoid future complexities and complaints of cheating by middlemen.
  • No student shall claim excuse or claim extension of time for payment of fees, on the ground that he or she has already paid money to his or her authorized agent, such claim shall be taken as fictitious, concocted for the purpose of avoiding payment of fees. The college is not responsible for any money transaction between the student or agent.
  • Parents are advised to kindly go through the letter of authorization issued to authorized agents by the Management, where in one of the clauses strictly says that,agents shall collect fees in favor of the Institution only through DD, and all the fees shall be paid in college office.

What you need to know the most, as a prospective student of S.G.I?

Advance enrollment:

Don’t wait for the last minute to arrive, to make your career move. To ensure this doesn’t happen, you now have the advance enrollment facility to help students avoid last ditch efforts all due to limited number of seats. It is therefore our fervent advice to all aspiring students, to apply in advance. Students will have to fill in the application form and enclose a photocopy of testimonials as applicable, in Part A or Part B. Now coming to enrollment fee, it depends on the course you take; with advice from our Admission Office and also as indicated in the fee structure. This fee will be adjusted once the seat is confirmed. And our Admission Office will notify of the same with a provisional admission letter. Students applying for a course in the current session will have to send or hand over in person, the filled in application form with 2 photocopies of all original testimonials as applicable, in Part A or Part B.

ELIGIBILITY REGULATIONS

NRI's, foreign nationals and students who have studied in educational boards that are not directly under Association of Indian Universities are supposed to obtain an eligibility / equivalence certificate from the University. The necessary application form for the same is issued from the Corporate Office of this institution.
 

  • Wherever grading system or any other system is followed for evaluating the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, the applicant should ensure that a certificate indicating the percentage obtained has to be submitted through the University / Board last studied.
  • Students who are not fulfilling the study of mandatory subjects as mentioned in the prospectus as regulated by the University shall also apply for eligibility/equivalence certificate from the University.
  • The percentage calculation as per the University is on the total marks obtained in all subjects studied inclusive of languages for MBA/MCA/MTA/M.S in Communication/M.Sc. Electronic Media and 50% in aggregate for all M.Sc. courses in life Sciences, and Electronic Science. For certain courses the applicant should have obtained 50% of marks in aggregate in individual subjects also.
  • Applicants for PG courses have to submit a copy of the syllabus studied, scheme of examination and regulation relating to promotion etc.
  • Applicants for PG courses should produce marks cards issued by the University only and students who are submitting the marks cards issued by the colleges for the I/II year or alternative semesters should produce letter from the concerned college regarding the details of marks cards issued by the college and the University.
  • Applicants passing GCE / O / A level examination should have passed 4 + 3 or 3 + 2 subjects at the O & A level respectively

  • The above fee includes Hostel Rent, maintenance charges and Mess (food) charges.
  • The above fee is subject to changes as directed by the Management / University from time to time.
  • Rooms will be allotted based on availability & first come first serve basis in the hostels.
  • Full fee to be paid at the time of admission.
  • Mess charges are calculated for 10 months only. Hence no deductions of mess fees are allowed during semester breaks or vacations.
  • Separate breakage charges will be collected in case there is any breakage of furniture or fixtures in the rooms / toilets or hostel premises.
  • There is no refund in case of rent and maintenance, if the student is vacating the hostel in between the semester or year or discontinuing the course. However a student may opt out of the hostel after completion of the academic year before starting of the next academic year with prior intimation to the warden and principal in writing from the parents.
  • The charges of rent, maintenance and mess may change subject to rise in prices of water, electricity, food charges etc.

FEE POLICY

  • The fee is subject to change only by University/Management.
  • The students must ensure that fees are paid before the announced due dates. Non-payment of the prescribed fees within the due dates will result in the cancellation of the registration to the program or to the subsequent term / semester.
  • Students will also be liable for any travel and accommodation costs incurred for placement. For certain programs, students may incur additional specific charges for such items or activities as sports and games fees, specialized material, or field trips. The college reserves the right to make additional charges to students for such activities.
  • Fees does not include hostel charges, transportation, examination fees, laptop, seminars, fests etc.
  • The College has every right to withdraw or amend its offer of admission, or terminate the registration, if it is found that either a false or a misleading statement has been made or that significant information has either been omitted or withheld in a candidate’s application form.
  • The College does not accept responsibility and expressly excludes all liability that may result from any loss, damage, or injury caused to a student or to his/her property.
  • Students enrolled in any course are required to sign an undertaking at the time of the commencement of the academic year consenting to abide by the rules, regulations, and the code of conduct of the Institution.
  • Fees has to be paid by cash or DD in favour of respective Institutions.

Policy regarding refund of fees:

The program fee has two components - Registration fee and Tuition fee

The Registration fee, once paid, will not be refunded by the college under any circumstances. The minimum amount for registration for Engineering is Rs. 50,000, under graduation is Rs 20,000 and post graduation Rs. 10,000, The objective of this clause is to discourage frivolous applications.

If the student wishes to discontinue in the middle of any semester than he/she will be liable to pay the remaining course fees after taking admission.

 

The refund of tuition fee paid will be considered under the following conditions:  

  • If a candidate withdraws from the program prior to the commencement of the program, then 75 percent of the tuition fee will be refunded.
  • If a candidate withdraws from the program within one week after the commencement of the program, then 60 percent of the tuition fee will be refunded.
  • If a candidate withdraws from the program anytime after one week from the date of commencement of the program, then no refund of tuition fee will be made

The Placement Cell of SaIT plays a vital role and is gradually becoming a key department of the institute. The competition for employment is increasing every day and the job of placement is becoming a challenging one. Our Placement cell is performing the following

The Objective of the placement cell is to facilitate the process of placement & ensure that each eligible student gets an opportunity to face an Interview.

The cell has dedicated team of Coordinators who maintain a well structured database which gets updated time to time and it is made available to the company as per the company norms. The placement cell not only conducts regular in house training but also organizes placement training by the industry experts. The in house training includes Aptitude (Logical, Analytical, Technical and Verbal) Mock interviews and Group Discussions to make the students well versed with the placement Process.

The placement cell also identifies the best Industry Expert and conducts workshops and seminars so the students get to know the latest industry requirements. It not only helps them to keep themselves updated but boosts their confidence.

PLACEMENT


The Placement Department undertakes the following activities to achieve the desired results and sets targets. The department handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduating students. The Placement wing provides employment opportunities to students through campus recruitments, pooled campus and off campus recruitments.

The Placement process is initiated with a clear focus on the students from all academic levels. All levels of the companies are contacted and invited for the campus recruitment drive which matches with different academic levels of students. Branch specific core companies are focused equally to ensure students obtain the right match of their passion and competency.

The department is well equipped with excellent infra-structure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangement for Pre-Placement Talks, interviews, Group Discussions etc. are all handled by the staff at the office.

PROCESS OF PLACEMENT

  • An invitation letters to the companies enclosing a brief summary of the courses available at SAMBHRAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.
  • The company fills the response sheet and sends it by e-mail to the Training and Placement dept.
  • Once the details are received the Placement officer gets in touch with the company and a mutually convenient date is fixed for the campus Placement process.
  • On receiving information file, the placement officer announces the requirements of the company, asking interested students to submit resumes, which are handed over to the company.
  • A mutual convenient date is finalized for the selection process/ recruitment drive.
  • The offers are made by the company after the selection process and the offer letters are signed and accepted by the concerned students and sent to the company through the Training Placement department.
